A garden is a wonderful metaphor for life. Come visit my garden where you may find occasional bugs, droughts, and floods, but there is also planting, nourishing, nurturing, and growth. I hope you find, as I have, some of the most beautiful creations blooming here.

zip, Zip, ZIP!

Norfolk Pines were brought in the 1700's to serve as material for ship masts.  They soon discovered that they were super dense with all the sap these trees produce.  As a result, they were too heavy to serve as masts.  This forest remains as evidence of a failed project.
Crossing bridges 80 feet above the ground kind of felt like Swiss Family Robinson.  It was slightly nerve-wracking but fun!
Trying to get some perspective.
The guides told us that if we wanted to go faster we could pull our knees up.
The View
Swinging high above the ground.
Our longest line with a gorgeous view.  We actually brushed the grass beneath us.

A different perspective on the heights we were flying at.  The platforms were easily higher than this climbing wall.

That would make me really nervous, but it is still about one of the only adventurous things that I want to try someday. I know Brad would love it!

I really want to go zip lining... was it scary at all?
